Thank you for being part of the 2018 Atlantic National Home Show!
We are very pleased with the outcome of this year’s show, from its strong attendance to the excitement the event generated online and in the community. Harbour Station was bustling all weekend long and we are happy you were there to experience it!
The show saw big crowds all three days, with help from the Friday afternoon special, free parking compliments of Irving Energy, AND $2 admission on Sunday. Coupling that with some fantastic exhibitors and displays, it was a surefire formula for a successful event.
Of course, it was fun to see all those who celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at the home show. Thanks to all who dressed up and brought their festive energy! Speaking of luck: winners of this year’s prizes included Lois Gorman, winner of an Outdoor Wood Burning Round Cooking Pit from Costco and Faith Hicks, Gerry Wilson, and Norman Dempster who each won a $100 gift card to the Habitat ReStore.
The 50/50 draw at the show this year reached an amazing pot of $3336.00. Proceeds of this successful fundraiser benefit the Y’s Strong Kids Program sending underprivileged children to camp.
Between the upbeat family atmosphere, informative seminar sessions, and swath of new and returning exhibitors, we are proud to put another successful year of the Atlantic National Home Show under our belt. As you may be aware, this show has longstanding roots in Saint John. For over 40 years, the show has grown from a modest display of home contractors and service providers, to an impressive exhibition of everything someone might need to make their house a home. Thank you for your support!
Much gratitude also goes to the show’s long-standing partner, the Saint John Y Service Club (formerly the Saint John Y’s Men’s Club). The Atlantic National Home Show is an important fundraiser for the club, and a portion of the admissions go directly to supporting the important work they do in the community. Additional thanks go to Cedarcrest Gardens for providing a beautiful green area at the show, along with companies who took part in the seminar program: Avondale Kitchens, Service New Brunswick, Culligan of Rothesay, and the New Brunswick Lung Association.
Best wishes to all who will be undertaking construction, renovation and other home improvement projects in the months to come. We were proud to have you with us at Atlantic National Home Show and can’t wait to see you in 2019! Stay tuned to www.AtlanticNationalHomeShow.ca and the show’s Facebook page for details as they become available.

The Saint John Y’s Service Club is a long and well-established service club in the metro Saint John area. Its members represent a diverse assortment of tradesmen, business people, professionals and entrepreneurs, all with a shared goal of bettering the community. The Club holds a variety of fundraisers each year – including the Atlantic National Home Show – to raise money to give back to community groups. The Saint John YMCA’s children’s program is the main recipient of this funding; however the Club also donates to and supports many other worthy causes.
